Terms of service

These terms cover your use of SEOtto, operated by SEOtto (registered entity name). Using the service means you accept them.

What the service does

SEOtto fetches public pages on sites you nominate, records a defined set of signals from them, compares each crawl against the last, and notifies you through the channels you configure. It is a monitoring tool. It does not modify your site and cannot.

What you are promising us

• You may add a site only if you own it or are authorised by its owner to have it crawled. Pointing SEOtto at somebody else's site is not permitted.
• You will not use the service to attempt to reach infrastructure that is not publicly reachable, or to place load on any origin in a way intended to disrupt it.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account credentials.

What we are promising you

We will make a reasonable effort to keep the service available and the checks correct. We do not promise a specific uptime figure, and we do not promise that every change on your site will be detected — a crawler reads what an origin serves it, and origins rate-limit, time out and serve different content to different clients.

Concretely: SEOtto is a smoke alarm, not an insurance policy. A missed alert is a failure we want to hear about and fix; it is not something we can compensate a ranking loss for.

Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Whop, which processes the payment, and can be cancelled at any time from Whop's billing page, taking effect at the end of the current period. We do not refund part-months. If a payment fails, the plan stays for seven days past the unpaid period while Whop retries the card. When a paid plan ends, the account moves to the free plan: the change history is kept; full page snapshots older than the free plan's 14 days are pruned; sites beyond its limits are paused rather than deleted; crawl frequency and page budgets are cut to its own; and alert channels it does not include are switched off but kept. The free plan has no card and no expiry.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like, and everything held about it is deleted. We may suspend an account that is being used to crawl sites its owner did not authorise, or to attack an origin — with notice where it is safe to give notice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost rankings, lost revenue, or lost data on your own systems. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
